2022 Nissan Pathfinder: Nissan’s midsize 3-row crossover, the Pathfinder, is all new for 2022. Significant changes include fresh-styling inside and out, new chassis, new transmission and additional safety and tech features. Pathfinder continues to seat 7 and is offered only as a 4-door wagon.  Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride, Mazda CX-9, Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander and Volkswagen Atlas.

Pathfinder comes with either front- or all-wheel drive. The model lineup includes S, SV, SL and Platinum. Sole powertrain is a 284-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 that pairs to a new 9-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 6,000 pounds.

Standard features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and Nissan's Safety Shield 360. It's packed with features including automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning. Pricing has not yet been set.
