Spring Has Sprung It's Time to Roll the Dough Car Show @ Dannys Pizza, 231 Douglas Ave., 10AM-2:30PM. Registration takes place from 10 AM to noon, with themed trophies awarded at 2:45 PM. The event is open to all makes and years of vehicles. The entry fee is $20, and $5 of that automatically goes into the 50/50 for the Food Pantry. Spectator admission is free! Both participants and spectators can enjoy voting during the event. Food and drink specials will be available all day, with the option to dine on the patio overlooking the vehicles or inside. Entertainment will be provided by Cruisin' Music & Videos, with a band to be announced. Additionally, baseball and NASCAR racing will be shown on the LCD screens inside.

6th Annual Wild Horses Car Show, VFW Auxiliary, 112 S. 2nd St., 10AM-2:15PM. The event is open to all makes and models of show vehicles, so bring your best and “show us your horses” in celebration of Kentucky Derby Day! The featured vehicles for the day are Mustangs, which will have separate awards. Unique themed awards for all participants will begin at 2:15 PM, with winners in “Win,” “Place,” and “Show” categories. The entry fee is $15, and spectators get free entry. This is a VFW fundraiser, with proceeds from the 50/50 raffle, Queen of Hearts, and all food and drink sales going to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Entertainment will be provided by Cruisin’ Music Radio and Video. Show parking is available along the river behind the lodge, and spectators are encouraged to use the west lots in front of the VFW across 1st Street.

38th Annual Car Show, downtown Peotone, 10AM-2PM. The 38th Annual Show will be a return to our usual show and include classes for every car and homemade trophies for 1st place. Twenty plus classes total with a chance to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each class. Registration fee includes a super cool t-shirt, a goody bag, and door prize ticket. We haven’t been to a show yet that included an awesome tee shirt in the registration. Get there early though; we don’t guarantee sizes and last year we ran out of tees before registration was over. They even sell those shirts on eBay! Our favorite, DJ Joe will be spinning tunes during the all day car party that fills our entire downtown! The pinup contest returns for our vintage enthusiasts and requires a $10 entry fee to participate. Winner is crowned Ms. Peotone Peach 2025. Winner receives goody bag, cash prize, and mini photo shoot on the spot! Pinup registration is 10-12 pm with winner being announced at 2 pm. Pizza eating contest for kids 13 and under. Registration 10-12 pm, contest at 1 pm. The street dance returns with a band playing right after awards! You don’t want to miss it! Plus local eats available for purchase. Come have fun with us!
