2021 Lincoln Corsair: The Corsair is a compact luxury crossover that seats 5 passengers and is available only as a 4-door wagon. Corsair shares much of its underpinnings with the Ford Escape, though the Corsair boasts a more upscale look, upgraded materials and more standard equipment. For 2021 Lincoln adds a new plug-in hybrid model in Grand Touring trim and a momochromatic appearance package. Competitors include the Acura RDX, Audi Q3, BMW X3, Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Volvo XC40.

Trim levels include Base, Reserve and Grand Touring. Gas engine options include a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that produces 250 horsepower or a turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder that produces 295 horsepower. Both pair to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Grand Touring plug-in hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine/electric motor combo pairs with a continuously variable transmission to produce a combined output of 266 horsepower. It's 14.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack allows for 25 miles of electric driving. Front-wheel-drive is standard with the 2.0-liter engine. All-wheel drive is optional with that engine and standard with the 2.3-liter and hybrid powertrains. 

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $57,000.
