2020 Porsche Taycan: The Taycan is Porsche’s first-ever all-electric vehicle. Available only as a 4-door sedan, Taycan seats four and comes standard with all-wheel drive. Competitors include the Audi e-Tron and Tesla Model S.
Three models are offered: 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S. Three electric drivetrains are available: The 4S is offered with a 390 kW motor and 522 horsepower. The Turbo comes with a 500kW motor and 670 horsepower. The line-topping Turbo S has a 560 kW motor and 751 horsepower. The Turbo S has an estimated range of 279 miles and can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $103,000 to $185,000.
