2020 Porsche 718: The Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman see the addition of new "T" variants, as well as a super-sports 718 Spyder model for 2020. The 718 series are German sports cars that seat 2 passengers and are available as coupes and convertibles. Competitors include the Alfa Romeo 4C, Chevrolet Corvette, Toyota Supra, and BMW Z4.
Only rear-wheel-drive is offered. There are four trims available: base, T, S, GTS, and Spyder. There are two different engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower and a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower, 350 in S trim, 365 in GTS trim, and 414 in the Spyder. Both engines mate to either a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
