2020 Chevrolet Equinox: The Chevrolet Equinox sees the addition of a Midnight Edition variant for 2020, but otherwise remains unchanged. The Equinox is a compact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5.

Front-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Four trims are available: L, LS, LT, and Premier. Two engines are offered: A 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 170 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 252 horsepower. Two transmissions are offered: A 6-speed automatic transmission and a 9-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring. Pricing ranges from $24,000 to $32,000.
