Fiat 124 Spider

2017 FIAT 124 SPIDER: Nearly 50 years ago, the original Fiat 124 Spider, considered one of Fiat's most beautiful roadsters of all time, was introduced and appeared at the Chicago Auto Show. For 2017, the Fiat 124 Spider returns to deliver a reinterpretation of the iconic Italian styling, and blend it with modern technologies, added comfort and a dynamic driving experience. For the US market, the 2017 124 Spider is powered by a 1.4-liter MultAir turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 160-horsepower to the rear wheels via a stock six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. There are two trim levels for 2017, the 124 Spider Classica and Lusso. And to celebrate the reappearance of the classic nameplate, the first 124 vehicles will be offered as a limited-edition Prima Edizione Lusso, each individually numbered and offered in exclusive Azzurro Italia (blue) exterior color and saddle tan premium leather seats. Designed at Centro Stile in Turin, Italy, the low-slung convertible wears well-balanced body proportions, a hexagonal upper grille, power domes on the hood and sharp horizontal rear tail lamps. Step into the two-passenger cockpit and experience the premium soft-touch materials throughout, and how the ergonomics were applied to emphasize the driving experience and easy operation of the steering wheel, pedals, and shifter while driving. Available technology features include the Fiat Connect 7.0 system with seven-inch touchscreen display, multimedia control, Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats and keyless enter 'n go. Add to that the Bose premium sound system with nine speakers, including dual headrest speakers, for superior sound quality even with the top down. Cutting-edge safety and security elements included adaptive front headlamps, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross path detection and rear backup camera.
