2018 Volkswagen Atlas: Introduced last fall, the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas is an all-new SUV that will seat seven passengers. Offering a choice of engines and available all-wheel drive, the Atlas will compete with the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot.The Atlas offers an engine choice between a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 238 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower. Both will pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and V6 models will be available with all-wheel drive.Available features will include a customizable gauge cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, and a premium audio system.Available safety features will include forward-collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, park assist, post-collision braking system, and a standard suite of airbags.The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas will go on sale this spring.
