Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

2017 TOYOTA TACOMA TRD PRO SERIES: Two years ago at the Chicago Auto Show, Toyota introduced the TRP Pro family to the media and public. This time, Toyota selected the 2016 Chicago to debut the new 2017 Tacoma TRP Pro, which continues to be all about off-road performance.  The Tacoma TRD Pro is available as a double cab; powered by a 278-horsepower 3.5-Liter V6 DOHC 24-valve direct-injection Atkinson-cycle engine with VVT-iW (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide) intake and VVT-I exhaust. Consumers have their choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.  With its exclusive features the TRD Pro is a standout with headlights and taillights sporting blacked-out inner housings, matching hood scoop, TRD Pro badging and the heritage-inspired TOYOTA block-lettered grille. Adding function to its form, the vehicle comes with the shorten five-foot bed, LED fog lamps, and 16-inch TRD black alloy wheels with aggressive offset that widens the track by an inch for a more powerful stance. Every Tacoma TRD Pro will be equipped with 4WDemand part-time 4WD with a transfer case. Adventurers will appreciate the standard 4WD with auto LSD (limited slip differential), crawl control and multi-terrain select, locking rear differential and a ¼-inch thick aluminum skid plate. Also included is a V-6 tow package with Class-IV towing receiver. The rugged exterior is complimented by a refined cabin that includes black leather-trimmed heated front seats, and technology like a multi-info display.
