It's available with front- or all-wheel drive. The hybrid model pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor for a combined 194 system horsepower, and it uses a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT) and is all-wheel drive only. EPA-estimated fuel economy on the gas model ranges from 22 mpg city to 30 mpg highway, depending on trim, while the hybrid is listed at 34/30.The gas-powered model is available in five trims (LE, XLE, SE, Limited, and Platinum) while the hybrid is offered in three (XLE, SE, and Limited). Available features include fog lamps, power moonroof, air conditioning, navigation, Bluetooth, USB, satellite radio, heated front seats, and heated steering wheel.Available safety features include rear-view camera, 360-degree camera, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert, radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee, passenger-seat-cushion and side-curtain airbags.The base price for the 2017 Toyota RAV4 is $24,910, not including dealer and destination fees.
