Ram 2500/3500 Night: The 2017 Ram 2500 and 2017 Ram 3500 Night made their world debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. Night edition models have a blacked-out look - including blacked-out grille, wheels and badging - body-color front and rear bumpers, powertrain-specific badging, black-bezel headlamps, 20-inch wheels, black rectangular running boards, heated cloth front seats, power-adjustable pedals and dual-zone climate control. The 2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 compete with similarly tough pickups such as the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and Ford F-250. Night edition models start at $45.520.The 2500 is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 383 horsepower, a 6.4-liter V8 that makes 410 horsepower, or a 6.7-liter turbocharged inline-six cylinder that makes 350 or 370 horsepower, depending on transmission choice. The diesel is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the two gas engines pair to a six-speed automatic. The 2500 is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The 3500 is available with the same engines and transmissions and is also available with two-wheel or four-wheel drive.The Ram 2500/3500 line is available in eight trim levels and in regular, Crew, and Mega cab configurations. Available features include fog lamps, RamBox cargo storage, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated cooled seats, leather seats, heated steering wheel, power sunroof, infotainment system, USB, Bluetooth, navigation, satellite radio, and remote start.Available safety features include stability control, rear-view camera, anti-lock brakes, front and rear park assist, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.Production for the Ram 2500 and 3500 Night began this month.
