2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class: The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is one of the most well-known nameplates in the mid-size luxury sedan class, and it competes against some other well-known names, such as the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, and Lexus GS. E-Class is available as a 4-door sedan and wagon as well as a 2-door coupe and convertible. For 2017, the E-Class has updated looks inside and out and it adds new features. A wagon version is available, as are high-performance AMG models.The E300 has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 241 horsepower, while the E43 has a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 396 horsepower. The E63 sedan and wagon have a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 563 horsepower, while the E400 wagon has a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 329 horsepower. The E-Class is available with rear- or all-wheel drive. All models have a nine-speed automatic transmission.Available features include premium audio, power trunk closer, head-up display, satellite radio, heated and cooled front seats, navigation, USB, Bluetooth, infotainment and telematics system, dual-zone climate control, and remote start.Available safety features include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot monitoring, car-to-x communication, park assist, rear-view camera, rear cross-traffic alert, pre-collision system and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a base price of $52,150, not including destination and delivery fees.
