2017 Lexus IS: The 2017 IS is Lexus' answer to entry-luxury compact sports sedans such as the Acura TSX, Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, and Buick Regal. This five-seat sports sedan offers three engine choices and rear-wheel or all-wheel drive options. The most notable changes for 2017 are new standard safety features and a new multimedia system. The IS line is divided into IS 200t, IS 300 AWD, and IS 350 trims.The three available engines include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 241 horsepower (IS 200t), a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 255 horsepower (IS 300 AWD) and a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 306 horsepower (IS 350). The IS 200t and the rear-wheel drive IS 350 are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the IS 300 AWD and the all-wheel drive version of the IS 350 use a six-speed automatic transmission.
