2017 Honda Accord: The 2017 Honda Accord is a five-seat mid-size car that is available in sedan or coupe configurations. The Accord competes with the Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata, Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry. New for 2017 are a new option package and a new hybrid version.The Accord is available with several engine choices: A 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 185 horsepower, a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 278 horsepower and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder/electric motor combination that makes 212 total system horsepower.The Accord is front-wheel drive. Depending on engine and trim, available transmission include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic and continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). The hybrid uses a one-speed direct-drive transmission. Fuel-economy numbers range from an EPA-estimated 18 mpg city to 36 mpg highway, depending on engine, transmission, door count and trim level. The hybrid is rated at 49 mpg city/47 mpg highway.The Accord is available in an array of trim levels, including LX, LX with Honda Sensing, Sport, Sport with Honda Sensing, Sport SE, EX, EX CVT with Honda Sensing, EX-L, EX-L with Navi and Honda Sensing Touring for the sedan, and LX-S, LX-S with Honda Sensing, EX, EX with Honda Sensing, EX-L, EX-L with Navi and Honda Sensing and Touring for the coupe. The hybrid comes in base, EX-L and Touring. Available features include adaptive cruise control, fog lamps, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather seats, heated front seats, heated rear seats, push-button start, Bluetooth, Pandora, USB port, satellite radio and navigation system.Available safety features include dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags; stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, rearview camera, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, collision-mitigation braking, lane-keeping assist, Honda LaneWatch and road-departure mitigation.The 2017 Honda Accord has a base price of $22,355 excluding delivery and destination fees.
