2017 GMC Yukon: The 2017 GMC Yukon is a full-size SUV that seats seven or eight and competes with the Lincoln Navigator. For 2017 the Yukon gains additional tech features, including a teen-driver monitoring system. A 20-inch longer version called the Yukon XL is available.The Yukon is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower and mates to a six-speed automatic transmission while the Denali trim is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower that mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Yukon is available with either rear- or four-wheel drive. Fuel-economy numbers are EPA-estimated at 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway with the 5.3-liter V8 (16/22 with four-wheel drive, 15/22 with XL and four-wheel drive), and 15/22 (15/20 with four-wheel drive, 14/20 with XL and four-wheel drive) with the 6.2-liter V8.The Yukon is available in SLE, SLT or luxury Denali trim, in regular or XL length.The Denali has a slightly different exterior and interior appearance. Available features include teen-driver monitoring, remote start, remote keyless entry, fold-flat second- and third-row seats, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, power hands-free liftgate, infotainment system, navigation system, USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless phone charging, 4G LTE hotspot, satellite radio, Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control and sunroof.Available safety features include dual-front, front-side, center and side-curtain airbags; forward-collision alert, lane-keep assist, low-speed forward-automatic braking, rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot alert and lane-change alert.The Yukon is built in Arlington, Texas.
