2017 Ford Flex: The 2017 Ford Flex is a crossover SUV that doubles as a stylish tall wagon. It seats seven passengers and offers V6 power. It competes with the Chevrolet Traverse and Honda Pilot. The Flex is mostly unchanged for 2017.The Flex offers a choice of V6 engines: A 3.5-liter V6 that makes 287 horsepower and a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that makes 365 horsepower. Both pair with a six-speed automatic transmission. The naturally-aspirated V6 is available with front- or all-wheel drive, while the turbocharged V6 is only available with all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway (16/22 for all-wheel drive) and 16/22 for the turbocharged V6.The Flex is available in SE, SEL, and Limited trims. Available features include Ford's Sync3 multimedia suite, navigation, satellite radio, power-fold third-row seat, USB, power tilt/telescope steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, power liftgate, and a capless fuel-filler.Available safety features include rear-view camera, blind-spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Ford Flex has a base price of $30,025, not including dealer and destination fees.
