2017 Fiat 500X: The 2017 Fiat 500X is a compact five-seat crossover SUV that competes with the Chevrolet Trax, Honda HR-V, Jeep Renegade and Mazda CX-3. New for 2017 are changes to the trim levels and options packaging to make it easier for consumers to pick the right 500X for them.The 2017 Fiat 500X is offered with two engines: A 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 160 horsepower and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower. The 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mates to a six-speed manual transmission while the 2.4-liter four-cylinder mates to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 500X is EPA-rated at 25 mpg city/34 mpg highway for the 1.4-liter turbocharged and 22/31 (22/30 with all-wheel drive) for the 2.4-liter engine. The 500X is offered with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.The 500X comes in three trims: Pop, Trekking and Lounge. Available features include sunroof, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, remote start, leather seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, USB port, premium audio, satellite radio, infotainment system, navigation and Bluetooth.Available safety features include dual-front, driver's knee, front-side and side-curtain airbags; anti-lock brakes, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic detection, stability control, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, rear park assist and rear-view camera.The 2017 Fiat 500X is built in Melfi, Italy.
