2017 Chevrolet Cruze: Available in sedan and hatchback forms, the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze competes with the Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra, and Kia Forte. The hatchback is a new addition for 2017, as is an available diesel engine. Otherwise the Cruze sees small changes.The Cruze offers a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 153 horsepower and pairs with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. An optional diesel will join the lineup this spring. The gas-engine Cruze has EPA-estimated fuel economy of up to 40 mpg.Available features include heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, in-car 4G LTE wireless, and infotainment system.Available safety features include rear-view camera, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, rear park assist, blind-spot alert, lane-change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and dual-front and front-knee airbags.The base price for the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze is $17,850, not including dealer and destination fees.
