2017 Chevrolet Corvette: The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette is this year's version of the brand's iconic American two-seat sports car. For 2017, it adds a Grand Sport model that slides between the standard Stingray and the ultra-high-performance Z06. Grand Sport models adopt the suspension of the Z06 while using the Stingray engine. Corvette remains available in coupe and convertible forms, and it will continue to compete with the Acura NSX, Nissan GT-R, and Porsche 911.Available engines include a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 455 (460 on Grand Sport and with performance exhaust for Stingray) horsepower and a supercharged 6.2-liter engine that makes 650 horsepower (Z06 models). Both mate to either a seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, and the Corvette is rear-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers are listed at 16 mpg city/25 mpg highway for the Stingray and Grand Sport (16/26 with automatic) and 15/22 (13/23 with automatic for the Z06.Available features include performance data recorder, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather seats, cruise control, premium audio, USB, satellite radio, Bluetooth, carbon-fiber hood, navigation, head-up display, heated and cooled seats, and a performance package.Available safety features include anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, rear-view camera, and dual-front and front-side airbags.The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette has a base price of $55,450, not including dealer and destination fees.
