Cadillac CTS

2017 Cadillac CTS: The 2017 Cadillac CTS is the brand's entry in the luxury mid-size class. It seats five and competes with vehicles such as the BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. For 2017, it receives a mild styling refresh and some packaging and trim level adjustments, among other changes.

There are several engine choices for the CTS, which is available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. There's a 268-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 335-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and a twin-turbocharged, 420-horsepower V6. All three engines mate to an eight-speed automatic, and maximum fuel economy is 30 mpg highway.

A CTS-V high-performance version has a 640-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that matches to an eight-speed automatic transmission. That version is rear-wheel drive.

Available trim levels include base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, V-Sport and V-Sport Premium Luxury. Notable available features include 17-inch wheels, 18-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay, Android Audio, teen driver monitoring, infotainment system, premium audio and 4G LTE hotspot.

Available safety features include 10 airbags, safety alert seat, blind-spot alert, lane-change alert, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, rear-cross traffic alert, rain-sensing wipers and front and rear automatic braking.

The 2017 Cadillac CTS has a base price of $45,560, excluding destination and dealer fee, and it's built in Lansing, Michigan.
