2016 VOLVO S60 CROSS COUNTRY: An exciting new model in the Volvo exhibit during the Chicago Auto Show is the 2016 Volvo S60 Cross Country, which blends crossover and wagon design cues into one exciting premium sedan package. Offered in a single, well-equipped model, the S60 T5 AWD Cross Country Platinum is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder that delivers 250-horsepower. The engine comes with a standard-equipped six-speed "Geartonic" driver adaptive automatic transmission with sport mode. All-wheel drive is standard. At the front, the S60 Cross Country is dressed with a honeycomb grille and lower skid plate. The side is accented with scuff plates while black fender extensions frame 18-inch "NESO" Cross Country alloy wheels. At the rear, a lower skid plate provides the finishing touch while rear park assist is standard. The S60 Cross Country is fitted with contour leather seating surfaces in Blonde/Off-Black include contrasting stitching. The cabin is enhanced with shimmer graphite inlays while urbane wood or piano black wood inlays are available as individual options. The pedestrian and cyclist radar- and camera-based detection has full auto brake system if the driver fails to respond in time. Additional standard driver support systems include adaptive cruise control with queue assist, collision warning with full auto brake, distance alert, driver alert control, lane departure warning, road sign information and active high beam. For travel or play, the 2016 Volvo S60 Cross Country has a 12.0-cu. ft. cargo room in the tailored trunk.
