2016 DODGE VIPER: The Dodge Viper supercar is available in Viper SRT, GT, GTC, GTS and the return of the Viper ACR (American Club Racer). With the introduction of matte-finish exterior paint, the 2016 Viper is now offered in more than 50 million unique build configurations, made up from the more than 16,000 unique paint color options and more than 48,000 unique stripe combinations. There have been continuous refinements to the heart and soul of the Viper GTS, the 8.4-liter V-10 engine, and Tremec six-speed manual transmission that have resulted in an additional five- horsepower - now 645 - and an additional mile per gallon (mpg) on the highway to 20 mpg. The exhaust system continues to exit forward of the rear wheels and carries further refinement with cast aluminum, sill-mounted exhaust bezels. Listening to consumers, Dodge revised the sixth gear ratio for the Dodge Viper models, resulting in reduced engine noise at highway cruising speeds. All '16 Dodge Viper models carry LED taillamps that integrate stop-and-turn illumination in one element. The driver-oriented cockpit is fitted with premium material appointments that include Alcantara, Nappa leather, and Laguna leather surfaces. New Stryker Orange expands the world-class exterior color palette with enhanced pigments that add depth to the finish and reflections to show off the dramatic curves of the Viper. Stryker Purple is available on Viper GTC only. To further appoint the exterior are available stripes in Black Venom, Billet Silver, Bright White, Gunmetal Pearl and Adrenaline Red or from the custom "1 of 1" color palette. Each 1 of 1 GTC model Viper features a personalized instrument panel badge with the customer's chosen name to commemorate their exclusive design.
