2016 TOYOTA CAMRY SPECIAL EDITION: Toyota announced that the “Winds of change” drove into the 2015 Chicago Auto Show with the debut of the 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition. Building on the redesigned Camry mid-size sedan for 2015 – the best-selling car in America for the past 13 years – the ’16 Camry Special Edition adds more aggressive-looking exterior and stylish five-passenger interior. Based on the Camry SE, the limited production Camry includes unique 18-inch alloy wheels with machined face contrasted with gloss black painted accents, power tilt/slide moonroof and a custom smoked taillamp treatment. The upgrade cabin adds high contrast blue stitching on the seats, shift boot and dash, as well as unique sport appearance seats trimmed with black SofTex bolsters and blue patterned inserts. In front of the drive is a sport meter cluster with blue details and white background. Toyota’s Star Safety System, Qi Wireless charging and Smart Key with pushbutton start are also standard equipment. The Camry Special Edition comes powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The ’16 Camry Special Edition is available in two exterior colors, Blizzard Pearl and Blue Streak metallic.
