2009 SATURN VUE HYBRID: The Saturn Vue Hybrid for '09 offers two different systems. The four-cylinder is a mild Hybrid system and offers up to 32 mpg highway. Also available in limited numbers in spring of '09 is a two-mode Hybrid that combines a 3.6 liter V-6 and has a four speed automatic transmission. One mode is at low speeds with light loads and the second comes into use at highway speeds when conditions demand, such as trailer towing or climbing steep hills. The result is a combined rating of 255 horsepower. Standard features include XM satellite radio, unique hybrid 17-inch alloy wheels, low rolling resistance tires, rear spoiler, body color painted fascias, side rockers, wheel opening moldings and exterior Hybrid badging. Hybrid instrumentation includes charge/assist gauge, ECO light, auto stop indicator on tachometer. Also, for improved aerodynamics, the vehicle ride height has been lowered by one inch.
