Saab 9-5
The 2011 Saab 9-5 lineup expands to include new trim levels and a new engine. This premium-midsize car comes as a 4-door sedan. A 4-door wagon might arrive in calendar 2011. Introduced for 2010, the 9-5 Aero is joined for 2011 by the new Turbo4 Base, Turbo4 Premium, and Turbo6 trim levels. Turbo4 versions have front-wheel drive and a turbocharged 220-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. Turbo6 and Aero have all-wheel drive and a turbocharged 300-horsepower 2.8-liter V6 engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard on the Turbo4 Base. A 6-speed automatic is optional on the Turbo4 Base and standard on all other 9-5 models. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and driver-seat memory are standard. Front- and rear-obstacle detection, keyless access/engine start, and remote engine start are standard on all but the Turbo4 Base. The optional Technology Package includes lane-departure warning, parallel-parking assist, and a head-up display. A navigation system with hard drive for storing digital-music files is optional, as are rear climate control and dual-screen DVD entertainment. Ventilated front seats are an Aero-exclusive option.
