Here's a review that's not normally written - I did not buy a car from Haggerty Chevrolet. Nonetheless, I felt compelled to say it was an overall good experience! I'm in a less-than-ideal situation to buy what I want but Mike Haggerty was polite, professional and quickly performed what research he could to try to get me a deal. That's what I respect the most - he didn't waste my time, trying to string me along. I absolutely recommend this dealership and hope to buy my next vehicles (soon to be driving teenagers approaching...) from Haggerty. Thanks Mike! Obviously the one missing star would be found if I could have made my "impossible" purchase - not their fault!
**Update -- added the 5th star! After a few days of communications, Mike Haggerty went above and beyond to make something happen for me and I'm very happy to be driving the new Chevy I've been looking for, for over a year now! Thanks to all involved! The best experience I've had in a long time. Excellent work Haggerty Chevy - highly recommended!
My husband and I spent some time discussing a used vehicle in which we're interested with Bryan Lewis today. Brian is a far cry from your typical car / used car salesperson. He is extremely accommodating, considerate, professional and not at all pushy. He called us to check our timing as we were on our way to ensure that he could have the car defrosted and ready to go upon our arrival. He was willing to negotiate price and when he asked what other type of car(s) we're considering, he didn't try to convince us that the car on his lot was the better option. It would be our distinct pleasure to buy a car from Bryan and we're hoping it works out that way due to the courtesy and respect he showed us!
They are very friendly and knowledgeable.. my wife took her jeep here for quarter panel work and bumper..they matched the paint perfectly and looks new. Awesome job. I will be back with my vehicle.
I brought my 2012 Avalanche in to get the passenger side door handle fixed. I picked Haggerty - its Chevy - trusted brand - figured they had those in stock. I chose to get the 4-point inspection for free - its a 2012 - let's see what they suggest. They suggested many different things - all fluids, front tires, front brakes, and....wait for it....a new battery. I have never had issues with my battery - I use remote start all the time, its cold in Chicago...but, I tell them, no thanks, I don't need a battery. I come back in, pay for the door handle, get my keys....wait for it...car doesn't start. Dead battery.
I then met with Rich, asked him if he thought this was a bit ironic...he stuck with "I told you the battery was dead". A bit of back and forth - I'm not looking for a free battery, I'm looking for some common sense acknowledgement that this was messed up, and maybe an action plan to make it right. Anyway - I get a jump, I drive around for 30 minutes to make sure I re-charge the battery. Two days later I take my truck to a competitor - because I don't need the hassle of a dead battery....the competitor calls me and says....wait for it...why are you replacing this battery???
Just to prove I'm not making this up. Attached is a photo of the reading of my battery from a trusted source.
Quite simply put - Haggerty lost all of my trust. Will never support them.
Even though I didn't purchase A Chevy it was a pleasure doing business there. They all expressed excitement for my purchase and not for making the sale. Tony Volturo was professional and made the buying experience great. Shout out to Larissa as well!
